Phenergan is a long – acting antihistamine which can be used to relieve symptoms of allergic disorders including:<\/p>\n

Hayfever<\/p>\n

Allergic Rhinitis<\/p>\n

Urticaria (hives)<\/p>\n

Eczema<\/p>\n

Dermatitis<\/p>\n

Allergic reactions to insect bites and stings<\/p>\n

For the prevention and treatment of travel sickness<\/p>\n

Relief of nasal congestion due to the common cold.<\/p>\n

Ingredients<\/b>
\nPromethazine Hydrochloride 10mg<\/p>\n

\n

Directions & Precautions<\/b>
\nThis medication may cause drowsiness. If affected do not drive a vehicle or operate machinery.<\/p>\n

If you are pregnant or may become pregnant, check with your Doctor or Pharmacist before taking this medicine.<\/p>\n

This product should not be used in children under 2 years of age.<\/p>\n

Avoid Alcohol.<\/p>\n

This product contains sodium benzoate, sodium sulphite, and sodium metabisulfite. Also contains sorbitol and maltitol, 1.33g and 14.12g respectively, per maximum recommended daily dose.<\/p>\n

Products containing sorbitol or maltitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.<\/p>\n

12 years\/Adult:<\/p>\n

2-3 TIMES A DAY DOSE: 1-2 tablets (as a single dose)<\/p>\n

6 to 12 years:<\/p>\n

SINGLE DOSE AT NIGHT: 1-2 tablets<\/p>\n

2-3 TIMES A DAY DOSE: 1 tablet<\/p>\n

SINGLE DOSE at Night for Sedation<\/p>\n

6 to 12 years:<\/p>\n

1-2 tablets<\/p>\n

Dosage for ‘PREVENTION’ of Travel Sickness<\/p>\n

12 Years\/Adult:<\/p>\n

1-2 tablets the night before travel<\/p>\n

6 to 12 years:<\/p>\n

1 tablet the night before travel<\/p>\n

Dosage for ‘TREATMENT’ of Travel Sickness<\/p>\n

12 Years\/Adult:<\/p>\n

1-2 tablets as a single dose<\/p>\n

6 to 12 years:<\/p>\n

1 tablet<\/p>\n

Dosage for Nausea and Vomiting<\/p>\n

12 Years\/Adult:<\/p>\n

2 tablets (as a single dose) 3-5 times a day<\/p>\n

6 to 12 years:<\/p>\n
