Nurofen For Children Soft chewable capsules provides temporary relief of mild to moderate pain such as a sore throat, dental pain, ear ache, headache, minor aches, sprains, strains and pain of cold and flu as well as fever reduction.<\/p>\n
The easy to chew format does not require water providing effective relief on the go. It is suitable for children that find tablets difficult to swallow.<\/p>\n

Ingredients<\/b>
\nEach capsule contains 100mg ibuprofen.
\nAlso contains glucose, sucrose and soya lecithin.<\/p>\n

Directions & Precautions<\/b>
\nBefore Use:
\nSeek medical advice before use: In children suffering from dehydration through diarrhoea and\/or vomiting.
\nWith products containing ibuprofen, aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines or medicines taken regularly.<\/p>\n
Do Not Take:<\/p>\n
In anyone with asthma, except on doctor’s advice.
\nIn anyone with a stomach ulcer, impaired kidney function or heart failure.
\nIf allergic to ibuprofen or other anti-inflammatory medicines. In case of an allergic reaction, stop using and see your doctor immediately
\nIn children of 6 years of age or less, except on doctor’s advice
\nIn adults 65 years and over, except on doctor’s advice
\nDuring the first 6 months of pregnancy, except on doctor’s advice. Do not use at all during the last 3 months of pregnancy.
\nFor more than a few days at a time unless a doctor has told you to. Do not exceed the stated dose. Excessive use can be harmful and increase the risk of heart attack, liver damage and stroke.<\/p>\n
Age of Child Weight Dose
\n7 years – 10 years 22-32kg Two capsules
\n(max 8 in 24 hours)<\/p>\n
10 years – 12 years 32-40kg Three capsules
\n(max 12 in 24 hours)<\/p>\n
Doses should be given approximately every 6 to 8 hours (or with a minimum of 6 hours in between each dose if required).<\/p>\n
The product should be chewed before swallowing.
\nChildren should take plenty of fluids.<\/p>\n
