The Candida species of fungi, particularly Candida Albicans, is responsible for causing infections in the form of vaginal thrush. Vaginal thrush manifests as an inflammation and discharge of the vagina.<\/p>\n
Canesten One Dose Treatment Oral capsules features Clotrimazole, which works by blocking the cell membranes of the Candida species. It stops the formation of Egosterol, a very essential part of the fungi’s cell membranes. Without it, perforations form in the cell membranes, allowing substances to freely enter and exit the cell. Because of this, even the important components of the cell leak out. In effect, the fungi die and the infection is effectively treated.<\/p>\n
